WHAT'S NEW & HAPPENING?

Awesome Auction Action!!

  • ANNUAL AUCTION May 24

Our annual auction is nearly here! Saturday, Memorial Day weekend. May 24.

Auction Preview at 5:00

6:00 is dinner (preview continues)

The auction kicks off at 7:00

Where? At our Duarte Garage and Lincoln Highway Museum, North L Street at Portola Avenue in Livermore.

Dinner tickets, a nice donation to get us started, are $25 (I think we refund some of that to any successful bidders!) Wine, water and soft drinks are available at amazingly reasonable prices.

Tickets are available at the History Center (Old Carnegie Library building at 2155 3rd Street).

What is our Auction? We have been gathering donations all year for this. We have furniture, glassware, tools, old radios, all manner of cute collectibles and objets d'art. Local wine and olive oil. Gift certificates for wine tastings. Hats. All sorts of odd things (such as a pair of old oars!) Everything was donated to us so you can get a great deal and we can raise some money for our heritage programs.

What programs? This year we are featuring the Midway School Restoration Project, but don't forget our Duarte Garage and Lincoln Highway Museum. Downtown Museum. HistoryMobile. archival and preservation activities and resources. Library. Archive. This website. We do it all with volunteers and your donations.

Come participate in the auction and support the cause!
