The first annual Livermore Legacy tour will showcase
some of Livermore’s finest historical homes. Many of these homes
have been awarded historical plaques for their reverent restoration by
the city of Livermore, and all are over 75 years of age.
The showcased homes, all within walking distance, will also feature vintage cars.
Docents
will be sharing unique attributes inside some of the homes in addition
to the information provided in the guide-book.
Garden-stops along the
tour will offer complimentary wine and light refreshments.
Advance
tickets are available for $26; tickets will be $30 the day of the
event. Tickets are available below on-line or by visiting the
Livermore Heritage Guild at the Carnegie Building, 2155 Third Street in
Livermore.
To preserve the homes’ lovely interiors, please -
no pets, strollers or high-heels. All attendees (including
children) must possess a ticket. The tour will commence at
the Carnegie Building in Livermore (address noted above).
Proceeds
will benefit the Livermore History Mobile, a traveling bus that
educates local children on Livermore's unique history. For more
